Beck vs Hannity - Head to Head

11.14.09

Alright, so they’re friends right? So they get along, and now both work for Fox. So they’re both nice fella’s and want the best for the country?

Right, right, right….

That’s not what this little article is about. We, at TalkRadioInsiders.com see the heir-apparent to Rush Limbaugh being either Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck. Now there’s no evidence Rush intends to hang it up anytime soon, but in case he does - we’d like to analyze the likely-hood of who will step into the #1 Spot in Talk Radio.

So below we look at several variables that we believe are the key-components to who would take over. Cue the Monday Night Football theme music - here we go:

Variable | Advantage
Consistency/Stability:   Hannity Slight Advantage
Work Ethic:  Equal
Connections:   Hannity
Humor:  Beck big Advantage
Current Popularity:  Hannity
Like-ability:  Equal
Creativity:  Beck
On-air Staff:  Beck (Stu & Pat big help)
Resources:  Hannity
Raw-Talent:  Beck

Summary: While Sean is a stronger force right now, Glenn’s rate of growth and popularity cannot be denied, and neither can his superior talent.

The Winner of this head to head match up: Glenn Beck

OK- so we do agree with you. But we really like both of them.
Now - what you must do is the same kind of poll on the LIBERAL Talk Show Hosts. (Please do not use Chris Matthews
as we feel he’ll be in a ‘nuthouse’ before the poll is done).

Also you could do a poll on the major newspapers such as
the N.Y.Times, the Atlanta Constitution, etc. (Just the top
    10 will do fine).

Then follow this up with the ‘..LIKABILITY..’ OF SOME OF OUR
    LIBERAL POLITICIANS….
then you can take a rest!

  2. Dave says on :

I will say for my vote it will be Hannity, Beck is good but too goofy for my liking, I listen to both appx the same amount of time 2-3 days a week, but I listen tho the RUSH Daily!

  3. Alex Abrams says on :

Beck because Habbity just keeps repeating the same old thing day after day and month after month and year after year. I like sean but he is no debater.

  4. Rick Biesada says on :

Who cares, these guys are working to insure the same global agenda, and are guided by the same perverted global slave masters who want to destroy America. They are propagandists working for the state in a system of intramural B.S.

I enjoy listening to the local talk show hosts who aren’t afraid to be offensive, and who tell the truth; such as Rick Biesada on Wedneday afternoons over radio station WJJG AM 1530 in Chicago. He isn’t afraid to hold our public officials accountable because he doesn’t rely on talk radio for his living, like Beck or Hannity the mealy mouth.

  5. Don Rosenberg says on :

Let’s not pick a new General untill the battle is over. I’m a member of the “Greatest Generation”, retired in 1969. I like all three of these men, I get laughs from Shawn, particulars from Glenn and day to day sustenance from Rush. The replacement for Rush will be selected by him and there will be no competition for the time spot. Take it from the “old guy”, let’s not tread where we are not welcome.

  6. Byron Garretson says on :

They are both dumb as stumps, no education to speak of and no common sense and not any other sense either. They do know how to copy rush the druggie though.

Wonder who helps them with that!

  7. Otto Mulemann says on :

I love Beck’s enthusiasm and the testicular fortitude he shows when he gets his Pit Bull jaws around the cretins who say they represent us in DC. Unfortunately, some of his child-like silliness and hokie nonsense can be troublesome at times. But, the bottom line is what counts and he hits home and drives all the jerks in DC to the boiling point.

Sean is just as ballsy and does excellent prep work. He will take on anybody, sans the sophomoric act. My wish with Sean and other good interviewers is to have longer air time devoted to each topic debated. In other words, if anyone dares to come on Fox, they are let off the hook much too easily.

  8. nancy davis says on :

I like both alot, but Beck gets the point across with a little humor so, his show is more enjoy to watch.I listen to the radio shows but, I like the TV shows better. I vote would go to Micheal Savage hes great.

  9. Lucas says on :

Fortunately, we do not have to “select a winner”.
We Need both of them! They have their differences
of style and presentation, but both are very good
and in this day & time both are badly needed,
and we should also take the time to read Thomas Sowell
    and Walter Wiliams.

  10. Linda Munger says on :

I would say Glenn Beck all the way. We don’t listen much to Hannity anymore because of his TV program! We hate his All American Communist Panel! And he doesn’t let the conservative guess talk much without interupting him. Afraid he ’s going liberal like O’Riely.

  11. Johnnie says on :

I like both of them but sometime, I think Glen Beck, has no memory when it comes to the abortion issue who passed it & made it into law.I think they are doing the same thing with the homosexual agenda, he conviently forgets all of that,I don’t agree with any of the things they have done. They only started welfare so they would have the usual lazy dummies that do not want to learn or work for a living, just vote for them, forever ,the damn COMMUNISTS.Everything that is lying ,cheating stealing just anything that is against God’s teachings, that’s what the demoncrats are about. I think Glen Beck has forgotten all of that, one reason I don’t care for him as much!

  12. Linda Griffin says on :

Really enjoy Beck since he came to FOX! Record his tv shows to watch later. He is a little cooky which in my opinion he needs to clean that up some! Then he might be more believable to the Left of the ones who watch him and I do believe the White House and Congress do listen to him! Loved the show with the all black audience..what an eye opener to me of what they had to put up with to get out of some of those bad neighborhoods. Agree in busing the students out of their area to mix with all students so they can get a good education which is the key. President Obama fooled millions didn’t he by using ‘CHANGE’ in his campaign? He has made the USA worse off than it was under the Bush Administration. He may be smart but he is such a ‘GREENIE’ in running this country. Think he really is the front man like ‘Beck’ said he was and his ‘Acorn’ Staff tell him what to say and do. As the person above me on Michael Savage who I like also but am unable to get ‘Rush’ any longer as our local station was purchased by a Mexican group. Do get his newsletters but cannot afford to join his Rush pod casts, etc.

  13. Stelwagen says on :

Am with Alex on this one thing about Hannity: he is very repetitive, something else is the way he is holding that pen in his right hand, is that his trademark? S

  14. Johnny says on :

I have a difficult time with Beck. Since he began believing
a flaky kid translated the Book of Mormon from “Reformed
Egyptian” by looking at two rocks in his hat. A guy who
can fall for that screwy cult’s fairy tale surely is no
one to sit behind the “EIB” Microphone.

  15. Debbie Freeman says on :

I like them both, What do you mean Johny? Sometimes Sean doesn’t allow people to completely respond and It makes me wonder if he is afraid of their view? I like Glenn, but am more interested in where to locate the information Johnny posed about. Where do I Google? If I don’t find anything about Glenn that is scary I would chose him but Sean is really on equal ground on the rest.

  16. Pam says on :

Glenn Beck hands down! I stopped listening to Hannity several years ago when I discovered Beck. Hannity is not really all that bright. He needs a script. He can’t ad lib and he has way too many libs on his show. Beck is funny, smart, quick, cuter and not mean to his listeners like Hannity is. And I got so so sick of him calling himself and his callers “great Americans”. He is about making a profit and Beck is about God and country. Beck would have them eating out of his hands while poor Hannity’s hair would continue to fall out. God forbid Limbaugh ever goes off the air! Perish the thought! Shame on you guys! Beck! Beck! Beck! Beck! Hannity should retire, not Rush!

  17. Theresa M. Gargano says on :

    Dear Patrick,

In the past, both pre and post 9/11/01, I was a very loyal listener of the Hannity and Colmes News Program, and found that I ALWAYS agreed with ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING Hannity expressed regarding Politics, and ALWAYS DISAGREED with ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING Colmes expressed.

Therefore, on that basis, without any preponderance of a doubt, I vote wholeheartedly for HANNITY - THE VOICE OF TRUTH AND SANITY!!!

  18. Mike Bailardo says on :

Hannity is a bore…. I don’t know which is worse, his radio or his TV show. Because I’m on the west coast, I get Beck’s TV show at 2:00 P.M.. Not usually a convenient time for me to watch it. So, I record it and usually wathch it while Hannity is on.

Although I’m upset with Limbaugh’s frequent absences, he is still number one and neither Hannity or Beck can fill his shows. However, if the day come’s, Beck is my choice.

I actually much prefer Michael Savage and Laura Ingraham’s radio shows over Hannity….

  19. ginny says on :

i like glenn beck and his fresh approach and intensity when reporting a story. i believe his band of associates do a great job in delving into a story. i am a faithful follower of his tv show and , when i can, his radio show. i admire both men.

  20. graham says on :

Beck all the .. No contest. Far more “clebral” and far deeper thought into what is said.

  21. Ed Toton says on :

I have been listening to Rush since day one in 1988, and I love him! He will be hard to replace. I like all three, but wish that Hannity would not be so repetitive, but repetition often gets people to thinking. Look how Obama and the liberal media constantly drummed “CHANGE” into the young people’s mindset, and they elected him. Beck seems to be supported by an extensive staff that can dig up all sorts of details about liberal organizations like ACORN and ACLU, so called news reporters, Obama’s Czars and his entire Administration. All three have different styles, and that is good. If I had to vote right now, Glenn Beck would probably be my choice, but I still want Sean Hannity around. I notice that Bill O’Reilly is not considered as a Rush replacement. He is a little too moderate for that position

  22. Lory D. Hughes says on :

It is hard to watch them lie all the time.
and repeat the same stuff over and over!
What they need is three new guys. They have had
there day . Move over let some new guys in.

  23. Vincent says on :

Neither one can make it to the top on TALK RADIO (even if you fixed the game to get one there they could not sustain it; I have listened to both but substance is lacking on Sean’s part and Beck is frankly not as riveting and on the mark as Michael Savage (I think he steals stuff from Savages show ha.ha). Just put the truth out there with facts regardless of party line. You see, even though Rush is knowledgeable and a good speaker on TALK RADIO, he is too republican to really be effective at awakening the masses. Hannity and Beck do better on Fox News where they can prepare for canned delivery.
Michael Savage is the #1 TALK RADIO guru, followed by Mark Levin; Glenn Beck can be #1 for Fox news TV (but cannot hold a candle on talk radio).

  24. Yankeeboop says on :

Love Sean and have listened to him forever. While I love Glen, I find his TV show which I DVR and watch everyday more enjoyable then his radio show. I tend to like to listen to all talk show hosts for diversity of opinion, therefore I listen to Neal Bortz, Brian and the Judge (XM) Rush, Gibson, Wilkow, Medved, Preger, Hannity, Levin (my favorite) listen in a.m. on PC from his web-site, Herman Kane and M. Savage. I bounce around sometimes listen for part of a show then switch to another depending on topic covered and guests. If Rush were to leave there is room for both Glen and Sean at the top.

  25. karen henson says on :

Hands down its ig Beck, he has the humor and the facts, like Sean also but he just harps and harps and harps. sometime I just have to turn him off.

  26. Nancy Ann Holtz says on :

I enjoy both Hannity and Beck and have no preference here.
    Both of them are great.

  27. Nancy Ann Holtz says on :

I enjoy both Hannity and Beck and have no preference. Both
    are great.

  28. timbo says on :

I enjoy them both. But my “vote” goes to Beck.

  29. mary g. says on :

I enjoy them both, however my vote goes to Beck.

  30. Sharon Murawski says on :

They are both assholes!!! And Rush is even worst!!!!!

  31. Fred Thomas says on :

The resources at Sean Hannity’s disposal are indeed extensive; however, that can be overcome as time elapses, and Glenn Beck develops them. The same can be said of “connections.” Beck will be able to make the same connections, or just as good, and these two factors are what will make the difference in time. I like them both very much, but give Beck the edge on style and approach to the issues.

    1. Mr. Hannity can be overbearing in interviews, is overbearing when opposed to the interviewee. This factor is a negative for Sean. Mr. Beck, on the other hand, is mild mannered, yet still incisive, a positive for Glenn.

    2. Mr. Hannity tries too hard to convince his political opponent of his, Sean’s point of view. Mr. Beck does it with a “look.” I like Glenn’s style better.

    3. Mr. Hannity hammers away on the religious aspect of his arguments, i.e., abortion. Mr. Beck doesn’t hammer. Considering the many issues before us within ObummerCare, it is my opinion that the cost issue should be stressed, and not abortion. The loss of freedom, the denigration of the U.S. Constitution as the law of the land is more important, and Mr. Beck focus’ rightly on this.

Lots of other things, which are too numerous to mention, lead me to go toward Glenn Beck to be Numero Uno when the time comes.

  32. george p says on :

i like all 3,,,but i wish they would talk about the rotten Federal Reserve System,,,and Jury nulafication,,,cuz very few people know the truth about either one or both,,,and why is the later being hidden from the public,,,and why so,,,

  33. KMAN says on :

Michael Savage is King of radio, even with Rush around. Rush and Hannity are Republicican schill’s and do not represent real Americans who follow a Conservative playbook. Republicans are not what we need now or the White House and for Glen Beck I like his act it is very funny and thought out, and it is an act. I hear Beck is a plant of the New World Order.

  34. Rose Ann Swinick says on :

I don’t like either one. Hannity has always hung to Rush’s coattails. Cannot read dems. Does not have contacts like one might think. Beck is a cry baby. He shows his fake emotions. You can be emotional without tears, but with tenderness and major concern. Beck reminds me of Paula (cooking lady). She was shy and thankful in the beginning….now she got new white teeth…new fake wigs (which she pawns off as her own hair…flirts with men when her husband is sitting in the audience…Beck like Paula is getting to big for their own good. Rush would die before leaving; he has no wife and children and maybe good friends? if he didn’t have the money or the plane I wonder how long his friends would last…remember the Rams purchase deal…he was set up!! A replacement might be in some years off, but try Sarah Palin…if she continues her humility and ole’ fashion ways….she must get a more firm sounding voice.

  35. Barbara A Begany says on :

we don’t need anyone except Michael Savage. bye

  36. Rod says on :

I think these guys and gals had better get along and work together or they all, will probably go by the way side .Don’t let your compettativeness be you undoing .Don’t you think this is exactly what they want.
We need you all for your diversity.

  37. Carolyn Queener says on :

I vote for Glenn Beck. He really has his finger on the pulse. He is unafraid to expose the corruption and how the web is so tangled.
He has an analytical mind that can put things together with adding to or subtracting from.
He lets the facts speak for themselves.
    Carolyn Queener

  38. Robert Lacy says on :

This might not be the right place and share this but I’m not real good on the computor. I did have a dream about our country and the out ragious Deficit being so much were in debt I can’t believe how great this would be to happen. My dream was that the american\ people that can start Donating money 4 this the reduction in the deficit or the National debt. There are so many people here and just think that even by donating pocket change would at least start in makin a difference. Just think what our for fathers did 4 us they fought & risked there lives 4 us to be free So we should do something for the children of today I got somemore thoughts on this but hopfully this will be something to get the word out about this to the country my vision on this really seems to work since the pres Obama seems to get larger Robert lacy Aka Bobby Bouchey

  39. Sandy B. says on :

    I would have trouble choosing!

I think Sean can be more direct at show more outrage than Glenn at times.

Whoever “wins” let’s hope that the following TWO things do not EVER happen:

1.) The signing of the Climate Change Treaty in Copenhagen. We will be devastated economically as a country and our “world” in the USA would change radically forever.

2.) The signing of an “Arms Control Treaty” that would involve surrender of personal weapons to a UN mandated edict. This WILL BE COMING from the Obama administration, make no doubt about it! I am sure it is being worked on as we write these blogs!

Either of the above would in effect surrender our sovereignty as a nation and nullify parts or the whole Constitution!

  40. YettaT says on :

Glen Beck is uniquely creative! Therefore, when he presents his point of view it is much more palatable and provocative than is Sean Hannity’s, His presentation is always so varied that he almost always surprises you even though he is discussing events which are continually in the news. His approach to a very thoroughly discussed topic always brings out some new angle which demands your attention. He is entertaining, highly intelligent and knowledgeable and with the surprise that he always delivers, he is indeed THE perfect newsman/talk show host/entertainer.

  41. andy3072 says on :

Doesn’t matter anymore who’s the best. They are ALL great in each their own way (Rush, Hannity, Savage, Beck, et al). What IS more important is how our country keeps getting worse and worse as time passes by with those “in charge” of america.
Honestly, who freaking cares about radio ratings when we have socialist commies running our country into the ground?!

Plus I’m surprised that ANY of those guys and gals are still able to be allowed to have shows on the radio these days, (with threats of that so-called “Fairness Doctrine” dung being flung from the left)..

The folks of talk radio are doing a good job — so as long as they keep shining the light on america haters, as far as I’m concerned..

  42. Otto Mulemann says on :

    Bring on Dr. Savage!

  43. Wilhelm H Peterson says on :

    The ULTIMATE Tea Party,
I have been trying to promote this idea among all three,It could STOP all of Obama’s proposals right NOW. We wouldn’t have to wait until Nov 2010. The problem is they receive too many emails and can’t read every one. The ULTIMATE Tea Party is a way to turn out close to half of our Voter population without having to travel to Washington or even to the down town City Hall or Court House. It’s the TOWN HALL of the future and could start tomorrow IF I could ever get the attention of one of them. Help me do this and you will be eternally grateful for the influence you will achieve as well as saving our Capitalistic Economy.
Bill Peterson, CPA, Retired No, I’m not a nut case!

  44. Frederick Gross says on :

Hannity is the real deal his predictions are very accurate
I like beck alot but hannity is the real deal and very
likeable and appeals to the country and he holds peoples
feet to the fire, but I will give beck a thumbs up.I want
both of them to keep on keeping on.

FAIR AND BALANCED - BOTH MEN

  45. bruce church says on :

Beck is the one with the facts and Hannity is so vain. He can’t debate if it gets out of hand. Like his Man on the street that went south on him. Of course the one and only “Great One” is the master on what this country and it’s founders ment by there “little peice of paper” Mark Levin!

  46. Fred G., Sr. says on :

I like both, but Beck, although his facts may be spot on, his dramatization when telling them tends to undermine his credibility . As to Hannity, he needs to get some new facts to use against the democrats, and there is plenty he could bring to the surface. If I must make a choice, I would have to go for Hannity, as result of him going head-to-head with the far left zealots.

There is one conservative radio host that is in the shadows who needs to be brought to the front, and that is Bill Cunningham, on the Cincinatti radio station on Thursday and Sunday nights. He is intelligent, well spoken, and he can and has recently brought scathing opinions, and exposed the Obama administration for what they really are, Marxist, and that they are lying to the American people. He needs to fill in for Limbaugh when he is off, and I am certain he would do better than the host Limbaugh uses now and the American’s would consider him a good choice to replace Limbaugh. Beck and Hannity need to remain on their present programs.

  47. claire says on :

Both Beck and Hannity are great in different ways. Hannity represents the old Republican conservatives and Beck represents the new independent Conservative movement. I think Beck is way ahead of Hannity foreseeing future events. Beck is less comprimising and more independent in his views. Hannity tries harder to blend with everybody while Beck does not waste his time. Beck tells you like it is without being concerned about being politically correct. Hannity has a negative- he repeats himself too much. He says the same thing over and over again and keeps the conversation superficial. He is not educated in economics and history the way Beck is. Beck has more depth and knowledge of the economy and history. To summerize Hannity is great with making the facts easy and clear to understand-Beck is great in predicting and discerning the future.

  48. Bob says on :

Frankly, Beck has it all. There is no comparison

  49. Nick DeLoye says on :

My vote for the most dead on opinions, knowledge, and dedication is Michael Savage. It’s what makes him so good that has also hurt him being accepted. His style is to say it like it is and let the chips fall where they may. I do like Sean Hannity a lot, and secondly Glen Beck, however both of them are careful to be more politically correct than Michael Savage, PhD.

  50. mark walker says on :

according to the constitution we the people can fire this so called American president, for the people,by the people, and of the people,if 150.000.000 people said he is fired,or all the senators and congress were not realected,or not voted for unless they impeached him. This man is shifted this country into third gear,he is on an agenda to bring in the new world order whether you believe it or not,he must be stopped, just look at history if you do not know it you are doomed to repeat it,just look at all the countries or leaders that have tryed.Believe me this man is going to bring in a man that is going to start anew world order, a new world religion and new world leader he will come from the middle east probable a syrian jew,and bring about a false peace,by peace he shall destroy many.I listen to all of these radio and tv talk show host, they all tell part of the truth, but not the ansewers are not the catholics, mormons, babtist,or any other group ,you want the truth its in a king james bible people if you dont believe that read the last chapter of revelations to all those who rewrite the bible wouldnt want tobe in there shoes. this is a bigger picture than the economy, health care the dollar, or the wall street you want the truth its in a king james bible rather you believe it or not,now I do listen to all of these people they are only giving you part of the truth either cause they dont know or just ignorant of the truth. What is truth its jesus christ and him alone like or not….

  51. Stan Harkenreader says on :

I think mabey Sean and Glenn will team up. It will be the best of both worlds, and will take both Sean And Glenn to fill Rush’s shoes.

  52. DawnJah says on :

I enjoy listening to Beck and Hanity……What one doesn’t report, the other will……I also enjoy Michael Savage…..This time in history is a time that “ETHICS” is overpowering “POWER”….and these guys bring to the forefront the information AMERICA and the world needs to hear.

We are experiencing extreme polarities, as the pendulumn of right and wrong, culture vs. culture, race vs race, religion vs. religion, poor vs wealthy, all promote their views of what should stand for all. I SAY DO NOT GET IN THIS TRAP OF LIVING IN THE FISH BOWL, WHEN THE WHOLE OCEAN IS AVAILABLE.

UNFORTUNATELY, THESE POLARITIES SEEM TO BE THE ONLY OPTIONS PRESENTED. GO BEYOND THIS ILLUSIONARY REALITY AND SMELL THE FLOWERS. FIND BEAUTY IN ALL THINGS>>>AND KNOW AND REMEMBER ALL PEOPLE ARE DOING THE BEST THEY CAN WITH THE INFORMATION THEY HAVE; However, some may have a limited perspective of the whole tapestry, they will come around when the “TIME” is right. BE PATIENT AND DON’T REACT. JUST ACT.

THE MASTER ACTS, THE STUDENT REACTS……”LIVE IN THE MEAN” . AS ARISTOTLE SAID….

AND THANK GOD FOR RADIO COMMENTATORS LIKE BECK, HANITY, SAVAGE, JONES. where people like Celente, Judge Napalitano, Bob Chapman, Sherri Tenpenny,Congressman Bachman, Ron Paul, and pthers who are tearing a hole in this illusionary veil that wrapped itself so tightly around the Earth, with AMERICA setting the Stage and the players coming out in the open every scene…….FREEDOM OF SPEECH THE FOUNDING FATHERS KNEW WE NEEDED FOR THIS TIME>>>>AND THE REST OF THE DOCUMENTED RIGHTS

    LOVE ,

  53. John D says on :

Beck hands down. Hannity as one of you responders said keep repeating the same thing over and over. But then you have decenter like Rick Blesada who conciders everything a conspericy, and Byron Garretson who considers them to dumb, or Larry Hughes who desires new guy. And last but not least Sharon Morawski who calls them Ass Holes. IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW ON SHARON.

  54. Mary says on :

I believe both Hanity and Beck are great. I love them both. Their styles are so different, yet they both aim at our conservative values. Beck hits the facts forcefully and without fear and I love him for that. Equally and more I love Radio Talk Host Mark Levin. He is my history teacher he should take over Rush Limbaugh. He has no fear he will say exactly what he thinks. Please let us have more conservative TV and Radio Hosts. This is the time where we need to get stronger and defeat this administration before they make more damage to our country and freedom.

  55. Lorne says on :

I don’t care for either one. I would vote for Michael Savage.

  56. Yaya says on :

Sean and Rush are like brothers. Sean would be ready, Glenn has a way to go. He’s like a Peter Pan…we enjoy Glenn, but he has to put in the time.

    Thanks for asking.

  57. Anonymous says on :

Hard call but I think Sean has been at this longer so therefore Sean but I do love Glenn

  58. CPOBull says on :

I genuinely like Beck, but I will say here that it is difficult at times to tell when he is shilling for “GoldLine” and having an honest conviction about “Money”,and the systemioc abuses of our monetary system. This can serve to cloud an honest appraisal oif what he has accomplished. I also disagree with his marginalization of Republicanism; if one believes in the Article IV Sec.IV clause of Republican government Gaurantee [and I do] then one who belivees is by definition a Republican, and there is a stark black and white difference between Republicanism and what is not, in this case the Democrats. Beck either does not know or seemingly ignores that Constitutionally “factual” reality; that is critical to me in objectively determining his “honesty”. To be fairt in this determinization though he has developed a highly sophisticated and penetrating investigative approach to the task of Journalism, something which the “major” networks do not do. He tends to dance with Michael Steele, which is ironic to me. Hannity on the other hand is consistent in his “interrogation” approach to journalism. Beck though is not a journalist; he is honest about that; he is by his own admission a “Paul Revere” and that is good. If there is a replacement that would be sought in the far term though I submit that it is neither of these two worthies. In my judgment it is Mark Levin. He has the knowledge of the Constitutiuon as a historical document, a body of law, and the hsitory of the application of that law to follow as a Limbaugh successor. That area is the area of “OP-Ed” journalism where Limbaugh excels and is in a class by himself and who Levin most nearly resembles; he does not suffer fools though dealing with them in a more stern manner than Limnbaugh and does not have as close a connection to “GoldLine” as Beck. Incidentally I found the self given “pat on the back” that Bck gave himself on-air this Friday past “…I founded the 9/12 Movement…” to be most unsettling. That is out of character for a genuine Conservative.

I don’t agree with the outcome that Beck would win out over Hannity. You’ve forgotten the female audience; and quite frankly, Hannity is better looking. That’s a big advantage in the likeability department.

BECK without a doubt is the best !!! Hannity doesn’t hold a candle to Beck. Love his humor and most of all his show is most educational.
I could care less about looks. Its what a man stands for that counts.

I hope if this ever happens they distroy each other, never to be heard from again….

And some one who has a grasp of reality and knows the diffrence between a Democracy and a Republic. Emerges that is not hystarical and or always boasting and patting themselves on the back by encourging others to belive and say that they are a great American.

What ever happened to Rusty Humphry?

  68. Love this country says on :

I love them both but I would have to go with Glen Beck because Hannity dosen’t let people respond completely. He’s annoying, shut up and let the people answer the question. I suggest that he just calm down a little bit but I do love his passion. Also, don’t let guest’s (liberal, socialists and AH’s ) off on their lame answers pin them down and make them answer your questions and if they don’t throw them the **&&&%%%&&^%66%6% off the program. The both of you are quilty of that. Your both great but I’d give Beck the edge.

I vote for Glenn Beck but I think he will replace Bill O’Reilly when he retires. Maybe he can do both. HOPE SO. Judy K

Remember Vice President Agnew? I wonder if you know what he said that got him and President Nixon in trouble?
Or at least ticked off the press or media enough to start them looking at them under a microscope, so to speak.
There is a lot of people being led very similar to what the pide the piper did.
Ho, “I” Forgot Agnew said, That the media is brain washing the American People. Bye

Favorite is Michael Savage, my favorite subject history and he knows his. Glenn Beck, always enjoy his information; can always research further. N0—to Hannity

  73. Joe says on :

    Beck.

Hannity is just the same bland delivery every day.

Beck brings something new to every program, and in a humorous way. Plus, Beck actually cares and gets angry or upset about issues.

Hannity is the same no matter what.

  74. Bob Jones says on :

    Hannity is a nice person.

    Beck is a german neo-nazi.

Hannity will be around long after crazy Glen Beck implodes…
