No one can deny his ratings, his influence, his tremendous book success, his ravenously loyal fans, and his impact - yet it’s almost as though the rest of the Talk Radio Community doesn’t know he exists.
It seems like so many of the big names in talk are “pal-ing” around, referencing each others work, appearing on each others program, yet where is Dr. Savage?
What could be causing this?
It’s not like they never mention him (just very rarely), yet when they do… I can almost sense a tone of “dissimal” - like he’s not legitimate. Why? Is it just personal, do they all know something we don’t?
And his books are so huge, yet where is he on the news, on the cable channels (very rare indeed)? Is he such a loose cannon everyone is afraid of him.
It seems the only time he’s in the news is when he gets into trouble - see MSNBC firing, and banning from the UK.
Clearly we have more questions than answers… as we continue to try and uncover the “dirty little secret” (if there is one)
So in closing I turn to you - for your take on 2 key questions about Michael Savage:
1. Is Michael Savage treated unfairly by the other powerhouses in talk radio (Rush, Sean, Beck, etc)?

Yes, I do believe he is unfairly treated…I used to feel that he was over the top in his commentary, but after listening to him on and off over the years, I’ve come to realize that his basic message of “borders, language, culture” is the message we all must take to heart. If we don’t pay attention to his hollering we will all lose all of those - borders, language, and culture! He is very real and is being honest in his expression of his beliefs and warnings to us.
Although I agree with the bulk of his views I find him difficult to listen to. He’s narcissistic and arrogant. and they way he talks down to callers is atrocious. I believe in his right to speak to whatever audience is willing to listen but I stopped listening to him years ago. Hearing how smart he is and in that tone of voice makes it difficult. He’s not even in the same league as Sean, Rush, Boortz, etc.

I am listening to the Savage Radio Show right now, on the radio, as I like to do each evening.
It is good to have many kinds of personalities in the business–he is different than the others…but is living in a very difficult area to be speaking out in a Conservative way.
I am glad he is on the radio, and pray for his safety.

I like Rush, and listen to him in the day. I do not mind that he will not support Mike. Rush has his own deal, Sean is Sean. I am just glad that they are all there including Levin and other. What would we do with out them! It is already shocking.

I have been listening to Michael Savage for years. Yes, I feel he is treated unfairly. Because he speaks of borders, language, culture he is probably viewed as not being politically correct. For him, and apaarently him only, the 1st ammendement of the Constition does not apply.

Dr. Savage is the real thing, he is a wonderful person, caring and at times sensitive to his listeners in that he must sense how much info to give us, then tops it of with a funny story that most times will hit home.
Even if they treat him unfairly, which to answer your question is, yes they are, it doesn’t matter to us, we have him and would like to help keep him.

Dr.Savage is a gifted man with great insight,he takes no prisoners.He casts a pox on both parties and will call a Socialist,Marxist and Communist by name. His counter parts like to hang the radical label on him.Well by God we need some radicals on our side this tolerance crap has got this country in a terrible mess.He also has a wicked sense of humor.
I have in the past listened to Michael Savage, however, when he said on the radio and I am quoting him” There is no such think as AUTISM’ he was bombared with calls from parents with an austic child. He tried his best to worm his way out of his comment, but I for one was listening and I heard what he said. Since then I have questioned his knowledge about this so called professional opinion on holistic medicine, among other things. As for him being not welcomed in the UK, it all makes sense to me. He is loud, overbearing, insulting, and talks down to callers. He is not the smartest man{as he claims} on the radio, if he was he would be number one,Rush is, therefore he is not. Also I’ve noticed, if you don’t agree with him he interrupts you, and then cuts you off. This is not a good radio personality.
Yes, Michael does not seem to get the respect he is due from the radio talk show world, i.e. the numerous other talk show “hosts.” Michael Savage is in a much higher stratosphere. Here is a learned man, very well traveled with a street savvy that comes through loud and clear, especially when this great fabulist is in a story telling mood. He reminds me of my father and grandfather who spent their youth on the streets of South Boston where, at that time in history, German-Irish-Americans we not quite welcomed with open arms by old Yankee traditionalists.
The lessons their stories held for me were a deep respect for them and for what they were able to accomplish with grit, determination and cast iron will and a strong respect of God, family and country. I hold Dr. Savage in the same lofty place. He is a man who deserves respect for what he has accomplished and for sharing so much of his knowledge with his teeming fans.
Doctor Savage is a legand of these crutial times and going back over the many years of listening to him find that if it was not for him the other greats whom I listen to also, would not be where they are today, as they advanced on his experience of the issues. I remember when they could not come out with specific terms, as socialist, communist,traitors,terrorists and all the rest that describes the truth of what is really happining to America, and he is the first in his league to do so, to speak the truth, to wake up the ignorance in America, perhaps too late, as many see to let all slip through the cracks until it happens on their doorstep!!!!!!!!!! A SPADE IS A SPADE WEATHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT……….
He is for real and doesn’t care who likes him or not…it comes across by his dismissal of the “drive-by media”, the left wing / socialists in this country and the generally ignorant public that can’t see further than the end of their own snotty noses. He is the voice crying out in the wilderness of truth, warning all of us of the impending doom we have allowed to be ushered in by our attitude of “what’s in it for me…and…that issue doesn’t affect me personally”
So, yeah, he is treated unfairly…villified by those who don’t want to hear the bloody honest truth of the consequences of our zombie like choices. Savage has an important voice and very worthwhile observations but they are often
diluted with contradictory outbursts. Sometimes the contradictions occur days later.

From the first time that I listened to Dr. Savage, I loved his show. He is not a man of many masks. I’m sure that even in his private life, he’s genuine! As a Canadian, I think America is very fortunate to have this man on radio!
There is no match with any other talk show, when comparing M. Savage. The man is very honest and speaks the truth, and many people get offended.
I never get tired of listening to the truth!

Yes he is treated unfair by almost all media outlets. THEY ARE SCARED. The basic rule of media mouth pieces is never have an interview with anyone that is more intelligant than the telepromter. He is the only REAL talk show host on the radio. He speaps his mind without PC. I love him. I would like to tell him to mellow out I want him around along time. God save AMERICA>

My problem with Savage is that although he claims to be THE true conservative (and he is one!), he constantly puts down other conservatives.
Michael Savage is a true Patriot. His principles and values should be the inspiration to this struggling nation. If the American people would receive his message we can take back our country.

I have listened to Michael Savage since 1996. I am a nurse who is on the road when his radio show is available in the part of Canada where I live. I never enjoyed world politics until I listened to Michael. I only miss his program when I am working. He is brutally honest and not afraid to speak of what he believes. BRAVO to Michael Savage ….coming from a Canadian Citizen.
Savage is not treated unfairly by the other talk show hosts. They do not publish their rivals. It’s a business.
As to his views, they are tough and insightful. More of a brass knuckle approach like Mark Levin.
His Swift Boat coverage and coverage on the data mining that uncovered the 9/11 killers before the fact was as good as it gets. He is off the prime time radio in my local market and I miss his take.
I listen to MS often. He is a very educated man, and he is eager to tout that. But he lacks some wisdom. Advanced degrees do not give one wisdom. He is arrogant and condescending to his other conservative colleagues and that is why I think they ignore him, I would also. And then he whines about it. I know he is a true conservative, he has many good points, is very intuitive and has vision. Just no tact and poor manners towards others. In grade school he would be marked - Does not play well with others!
Sure, he can be crude and overbearing. But is that any reason to ignore his message of borders, language and culture regarding the New World Order collectivists’ attempt to deep six our nations sovereignty? I think not. Hopefully, he can man enough to make up with the other big guys on the “Right” and get on with the rest of them in trying to save our great nation!

I might listen to Rush, Hanity and Glen Beck about once a month. It is hard for me to answer how they treat Dr. Savage.

I feel I can spot sincerity. This guy like another favorite
from Boston and Frisco, Gene Burns, hide nothing.
Now: Is he treated unfairly by the “Big Boys”? Well he
certainly is different and that may disturb them. But unfair
treatment? I don’t know. I’d say any treatment at all should
be considered a plus.

I don’t think the media treat him fairly, but who cares? As long as he gets his message out.
I used to listen to Savage everynight and I have yet to catch him in error. However, if I heard him complain one more time about how he didn’t get a particular position because he was white, due to affirmative action, I was going to scream! Also, I had to stop listening because he was rude to callers and didn’t allow guests. In addition, he always criticizes San Francisco but won’t leave. I still tune in but not as often due to a conflict of schedule for me rather than lack of interest. He is not fake though. The only phony balogny I find in the talk circuit is Sean Hannity. What a blowhard. Mike could talk circles around that weenie. I think that after Michael was fired he was black balled. But that particular show WAS awful. He is not cut out for TV but rocks the radio. As long as he talks, people will listen.

I listened to Mike Savage until he thinks that the US should get involved with Israel’s problems. Why should U.S. send troops to fight for Israel with all the trouble they have created? No matter what happens he stands firmly with the Jews. He has his listeners send money in for what he thinks is an injustice, why, with his wealth can’t he do it himself? He is arrogant and thinks he should be more than just a talk show host.
Dr. Savage is completely overlooked. I believe it is because he is so much more intelligent than the other talk show hosts they are afraid to match wits with him. I knew instantly that Dr. Savage was genuine from the first time I heard him. He vocalized all the concerns I have in a way that I could not. He made me realize that I was not the only one who has the same concerns for our country as I do. I remember thinking that some of his predictions of the eminent demise of our country were far fetched. All of his predictions have come true much faster than anyone could have anticapated. It is very unsettling how far our country has deteriorated. I only hope we haven’t gotten to the place of no return.

Banning a man from a country because he is brash? If that is all it takes then a lot more of us won’t be travelling. i don’t hear the other radio hosts bash him or treat him unfairly, unless you consider ignoring him unfair treatment. He is loud, brash and brutally honest - like a Mark Levin. And like Mark Levin he goes after other conservative hosts, which I’m not a fan of. But no one says it like Savage and I admire him for that. I tune in for the brutal honesty and insight I get nowhere else, as well as his tales of growing up, and even the various restaurants he visits or the music he listens to. Always leaves me wanting to hear more. Savage is the real deal and if he is taken off the air it will be a sad day for all of us. Savage epitomizes free speech. It is a scary thing that he is attacked for telling it like it is. Does not bode well for any of us.

I don’t think that Savage is treated unfairly by the other talk show folks. He says a lot of not so good things about them, why would they get along with him? I think he’s fairly real, but he tries too hard to live up to the “savage” name. I do like his take on politics, and mostly agree with him. I enjoy his show, but wouldn’t bother calling in. I mean, what’s the point? He only uses his callers to boost his ego. I think a better format for him would be to just have a talk show where he did all the talking, no callers. He just tends to turn people off when he hangs up on folks and insults callers. His weakness is his ability to dialog.
I just read what thirty-eight others have said and felt about Mike Savage and to some degree I agree with all their sentiments. Mike is a very complicated personality and the shadow that it casts is controversy. I too get extremely weary with his self indulgent chest pounding about all the books he has had published and how mentally superior he thinks is compared to Rush or Sean…not good radio; however, I am somehow entertained and somehow remain a loyal lisner.

Without a doubt he is mistreated by the other so called talk show hosts. He is beholden to no one, so you have to ask yourself the next question; what are they afraid of????????? Michael Savage outshines them in every way….If you don’t like his manner or the way he treats callers on the phone get over it. I’m intelligent enough to know not to call in; I learn alot more listening to him and his guests than I ever would trying to make small talk with Michael. Yes. Dr. Savage is not given the acknowledgment that is due him from the other big name conservative talk show hosts. I think that they are intimidated by him. If there ever was an opportunity for the others to have a direct exchange with Dr. Savage resulting in disagreement, he would have them for lunch, breakfast, and dinner.

Michael is the real deal and yes, there is something wrong with the way he shunned by the others. I do hear Laura Ingraham mention Michael occasionally. I think Laura listens to his program on a regular basis. I don’t know what the deal is with Hannity and Limbaugh. I find Hannity’s program (radio & TV) a bore. Beck used to. Limbaugh? Well, Limbaugh is Limbaugh…. enough said… The people that really count are us listeners and I listen to Michael whenever I can… He’ is the real deal in my eyes.
Of course he’s vilified by the Nazi media. What YOU need to get used to is the fact that “we” have moved beyond needing the crap-msm.
Savage is alternative radio. Yeah, he’s full of himself at times, and a bit kooky at other times. But as a whole Savage presents a clear and unique opinion, something that’s very much in need at this time.
Michael Savage is an unorthodox and uncomfortable personality, an egotistical pain in the ass who is usually right on the mark as a socio-political commentator. Although he’s a bit middle of the road compared to the only real cutting-edge media pariah, Alex Jones, and consequently doesn’t go far enough, Savage is best described as “extremist lite,” just radical enough to alienate his middle of the road media contemporaries,while continuing to appear completely original to those who remain ignorant, or in denial of the true seriousness the national and global situation.
I generally agree with Dr. Savage on mainstream issues.
He does sound a bit extreme in his defense of freedom, but then; “So am I”. He is sometimes trivialized by other talk-show hosts, notably Michael Reagan, however, Dr. Savage has himself to blame for this since he has a scathing list of nicknames for other talk-show hosts. My main gripe against Dr. Savage is his criticism of callers that are obviously well intentioned. I really deplore that and I always tune out when that happens.
His verbal extremism in the defense of liberty and freedom is quite commendable. I believe it was Barry Goldwater that once said: “Extremism in the pursuit of liberty is no vice.”
Yes, he is avoided by other radio host. They would be crucified by his wit and knowledge.
He is REAL, ask any of us followers. He is true and pasionate. We believe his is our voice, when it comes to national issues. We are not stupid and he treats us that way. He talks on subjects many will not touch, and we love him for that.
Yes I think he is treated poorly. I have thought of calling up Rush, or Beck on their radio shows and asking them why. Maybe its not personal they are just doing their own thing. I know one thing.. I think he is great I just wish he wasn’t so harsh (even though I understand why). I think it turns a lot of people off because he can be hard to listen to.
I think Michael is about as far from an act as you can get. He is the real deal. In depth analysis that surpasses most of talk radio. Just wish he would deliver the info. without the name calling etc.
I just recently got onto Mike from my manfriend who listens to him alot. I have read 2 books of his whom I got from said friend. I know nothing about his firing and haven’t heard any of the other hosts talk about him. I’m fairly new to talk radio and miss alot of the shows due to TV. I belive Omaha is my nearest station to get him. I do get the Limbaugh letter in the mail. Does Mike have anything like that to offer? Thomas Sowel had a good article about how people are trying to shut up ones who speak against anything gov’t does but are being shushed.
Michael Savage is not so much treated unfairly as he is just grossly under-exposed. It’s a shame because his incredibly perceptive politically accurate insights are missed by many. If I don’t get my daily infusion of the Savage Nation I have a real problem. I need for him to podcast the show, but as far as I know this isn’t an option yet. His knowledge of the current political scene, combined with his knowledge of history amounts to an opinion not found anywhere else. It is unique, special, and on the edge. I feel sorry for those who are scared off by his brash, no-nonsense, daily exploration of the truth. Sometimes the truth is a Bitch, but it’s better to know it than to hide from it. As for me….I prefer to be armed with the truth, as ugly as it might be. When it’s time for the political Armagedon, you will find me on the front lines shoulder to shoulder with Savage and Cunar.

He is, by far, the most cerebral and probably the most overall knowledgeable and experienced, giving him an intuition on current events that borders on the uncanny.
However, his egotism is too apparent, his temper too short, his tolerance too low, and his bluntness and non civility have lost him some of his audience.
Also, by dwelling on one subject for so long, he can be boring, but he is definitely legitimate and not acting.
Dr Savage is a Conservative among several conservatives that I regard as honest and forthright in their assessment of this nation that is in danger of being the victim of an insider coup de’tat from this administration.
They have all stuck their collective necks out and been deliberate in exercising their free speech rights as long as they have that freedom.
Oboma is in deep trouble and I want his impeachment and resignation in the same order as Richard Nixon. If they add up the lies and the Constitutional distortions we can get that. We owe a debt of appreciation to these men who are the only men telling the American people what is going on.
Michael Savage is tough and offensive at times but he is honest and he is saying wake up to the corruption in Washington. The Democrats are past masters of personal destruction. Rush and Glenn are tough as well and even abraisve but they sprinkle humor in their talk. There is very little humor and certainly very little to be laughing about in today’s government. The Chicago criminal element has moved into the White House and Mischelle Oboma says, “Oboma will never “allow” us to return to our comfort zone.” That is chilling.
I have listened to Michael Savage off and on for years and I am a conservative. I have no use for either party today. The American people are waking up I just hope it isn’t too late. I don’t think Michael is being shunned. I think the others are scared over what is happeneing and are among the few telling the truth until the hammer comes down. They have given sleepy people the questions to ask their Reps. They have been out spoken and have used the research their companies have provided to get the truth out to us.
Glenn has been a Paul Revere for the 21st century. Mischelle Malkin is the very best researcher for Americans to hang their decisions of patriotism on. They are focused on America and doing everything they can to stop Oboma before he takes over. Michael will be OK. He was just the first to fall.
The truth is I have listened to all the talk show host for years and Michael Savage has a master understanding of the culture and society at large as well as discernment enough to understand the inside working of foreign governments our enemies America’s real struggles and he see’s political correctness and hate speech as tools of the enemy to defeat us from within and he is more right a thousand times over than any other talk show host. He also has the ability to forecast predictions on things that will happen and talks about those issues as well months and years in advanced not because he is psychic but because he has discernment and sees the big picture. The enemies of this country are assaulting every aspect of the constitution including free speech and are trying to shut him up, such as the Muslim care group has done and other groups not to mention liberals calling in and threatening his advertisers everyday. To loose Michael Savages voice is to loose the voice of a Godly man who is justifiably outraged at our countries orchestrated sellout to one world government and frankly I am angry about all the Muslims and communists and leftist and globalist leading this government as well.Ronald Reagan was right when he said that it’s not that our liberal friends are not intelligent it’s just that they know so many things that are not true. Diversity and political correctness and the aliens are now more important than our national security as evidenced by Fort Hood and the government once again failed us. Russia developed political correctness to defeat the west from within and the Muslims are using it against us to take us over from within. As much as I appreciate and agree with the comments made so far by my fellow contributors to this forum, I disagree with the premise that Michael Savage is in fact the proverbial “forgotten radio host.” Alex Jones alone deserves that accolade, and he is ignored by Michael Savage to the same extent and for the same reason that Savage is in turn ignored by Limbaugh, Beck, O’Reilly, et-al. simply because Alex Jones is closer to the truth, and thus as much a threat to Michael as Michael is to Rush, Glen, and Bill!

Michael Savage is not the forgotten personality. He has 10 million listeners per show. Check out You Tube in a 2003 interview with Bill O’Reilly. Savage maintained that the Democratic Party in his opinion is moving towards Socialism and even Marxism and watch O’Reilly poo-poo that assertion. Once again Savaage was right.

Michael Savage is a great American. He says what he thinks without the usual infusion of “political correctnous” which I find very refreshing. He sincerely cares about this country and the direction it is headed, as am I. I feel that the other conservative hosts are much more commercialized than Dr. Savage and care to much about their ratings and offending sponsers. Dr. Savage is the Fox News of conservative talk radio.
I thought it was terrible that none of the other conservative hosts ever mentioned the horendous treatment Dr. Savage received from the British Government. As a matter of fact after I donated to Dr. Savages defense fund I sent emails to these other hosts asking them if they were aware of Dr. Savages plight, of course none replied.

Sometimes Michael is a little over the top. But 98% of the time he is on target. He says what most Americans feel. If we had pollutions with 1/10 the courage and commitment as Michael this country wouldn’t be where it is now.
Question . Is Michael treated unfair, some will say yes, some will say no. I say who cares, you are what you are, it is not between you and them it is between you and God. #2 His act is not an act otherwise he would not have lasting power. He is my “baromter” — when something happens in the political area that I find find unconscionable, Savage is THE man.

Yes I do agree that Michael is treated unfairly. I’m coming up on my 60th birthday and I do not want to live in fear of what is coming our way. Michael was a little hard to get used to his style of presenting his views but after I got over that issue I’m OK with it. I totally agree with his views because they are my views.(borders,language, culture, national secureity) Glen Beck comes to mind also. You are right on and we can’t understand why the other “conservative” talk show hosts don’t recognize you for telling the truth. Sometimes you use language that we don’t agree with but at least you stand up for the freedoms of our country and we do appreciate that. We can see the hand writing on the wall telling us that we are definitely living in the end times according to Bible. I am a Michael Savage fan, and while I was listening to the radio - eons ago, I was a loyal fan, religiously tuning in to his program.
YES, he is unfairly treated, unappreciated and FEARED for his brave, straight, and honest views. Unfortunately, the CRIMINALS whom are in control of all forms of Media, as well as the world in general, want to conceal the truth from the rest of us, and Michael Savage threatens them daily, by revealing their wrongdoing.

I have learned something new just about every time I listen to him which is quite often. I believe he speaks from the heart and is a very hard person to live with. His type A personality/inteligence makes him hard to deal with. Hence this could be a reason why the media shuns him. This is why he’s the best there is on the radio. He’s too smart and intimidating to others in his profession. He has a large ego which is no different than any other good talk show host.
How could any person question his patriotism? If more politicians had 1/2 his values, we would be in a much stronger position in this country and world. He really rips these people apart. Now I’m getting pissed off just thinking of these corrupt individuals. What can I do? Election day will be here soon enough. Thanks Michael for being the only one there with the balls to speak out. The history lessons, nutrition and your every day and past experiences with the public will be missed when you are off the air. I hope you persist for a long time as you will never be replaced.
Pat. Maybe instead of asking the questions, you should listen to Michael more often and see the genuine way in which he approaches his job. He needs not this job to survive. He has enough economic power if his own to disappear but he does it because he really believes in what he is doing. I wish I could do what he does for the community some day in the future. I dont like when Michael Savage starts degrading the other conservative talk show hosts-Rush,Hannity,Levin, and Beck. He lost a lot of credibility with me because of this. Its a lack of class and tact. When he does this he comes off as jealous and competitive. Its not nice.Its also very stupid because he devalues his own reputation when he puts down the others.
Another thing I dont like is he does not stay on the subject. He meanders off and talks about nonsense that I dont have time to waste listening to such as his dog, meatballs, Chinese food and other things of no importance. The country is quickly going down the drain with people losing their freedoms,money,and jobs and it is annoying to hear him say he does not feel like talking about the country but rather talk about nonsense. As a result, he lost my attention and instead I prefer to listen to his competitor Mark Levin who does not go off the subject and stays focused on the important issues of the country. That is why he has lost his ratings to Mark Levin. People are tired of hearing about what Italian restaurant he ate in instead of talking about how to save the country. Maybe is is just too old and might consider retiring.
M.S. is an outstanding radio talk show host. He is very lucid, rational and logical in his arguments. He has two faults. He is costantly demeaning other radio talk show hosts. Second, often he spends too much time feeling sorry for himself.
My opinion is that other members of his media and Fox News ignore him because of his attacks on them. I listen to him every single day, and I recognize his greatness and clarity but also his faults. STOP demeaning other conserative radio talk show hosts.

I have been listening to him for 4 years now and at first I thought he was abrasive but amusing. Savage is a true American who speaks for freedom loving conservatives everywhere (I use to view myself as a conservative Republican, thanks to Michael I realize that I am a conservative American and there are many more conservatives across this great country who are thinking like I am). It is refreshing to hear an intelligent knowlegeable American speaking with passion on the topics that are near and dear to me. I desire an America where people work for what they get and where the individual not the federal government is reponsible for redistributing our hard erned monies (the individual will give from the heart using his or her own pocket book, while the government will steal from the tax payers pocketbooks to pay for programs that rape middle class America and give away our sovernty); the enemy within seeks to strangle the individuals ability to express themselves. The politicians in both current parties are putting our country deeper in debt as they tighten the fingers of socialism around the tax payers neck.
The majority of red white and blue Americans are upset with political correctness, double talk, socialistic agendas being forced down our throats, lack of enforcement of existing illegal immigration laws, the threat at our borders, anchor babies, Islamic ideology that will never mesh with this democratic country (sleeper cells), a liberal press that no longer conducts due diligence in journalism reporting and politicians that do not represent the best interest of the tax payer base (middle class and small businesses).
The enactment of laws that unduly place ever increasing burdens on small business is a direct attack on our free enterprise system and is a power bid by liberal ignoramus politicians who desire to become the all powerful Power brokers in America. We the people are sick of special interest lobbyist, who are often funded by those with secret desires to weaken America, and the lawyer politicians in our government who seek to increase their coffers at any expense.. even if it means the Death of America; I for one am sick to my stomach when I here liberals in power today state that our constitution needs to be changed; our consitution has been ratified often, but the intent was to work toward a perfect union as our founders envisioned it, not some new world order accountable to a united nations that would destroy us in the name of redistribution of our wealth to countries that have less. It is time to speak the truth and Michael Savage does just that. You may not like hMichael’s delivery and he can come across as arrogant, but thI ask you does truth still ring true to your heart; does the bell of freedom ring true in your soul when you a savage nation wakes up. The slumbering giant called America is waking up and getting back on it’s feet and the old guard politicians will have to be moved out of the way in order for us to clear a straighter path foward for this great country.
1. Yes. Michael is my favorite, but he does trash the other guys. He usually makes very good points when he trashes them though. It is not like they do not trash him. All the big hosts he is critical of have their own personal ankle biter in Mark Levin, who enjoys attacking Savage. I do not care for Levin as he is in the GOPs pocket and a big fan of big bloated government republicanism.
2. No, Michael is not an act. Michael is the real deal. I find the other noted big talk hosts such as Hannity and Rush a waste of time to listen to after listening to Savage.
A good thing about Savage, he’s not afraid to speak his mind. I don’t agree with him all the time, but he is gutsy.
Michael Savage is dedicated, educated, knowledgable and sometimes has a greaty sense of humor.
He is not included in the “inner circle” of conservative talk show hosts because he quite frankly doesn’t give a damn.
Michael Savage says it like it is and is not out to impress anybody. He has more up to date information often than does Rush, Sean or Glen Beck. Michael Savage is all business, doesn’t put on a comedy air show like the others, and got kicked off MSNBC because he laid it on the line, told it like it is, and got fired. So, he is not ‘politically correct” in the acceptable view of the “bit three”, or “big four” if you count Mark Levin. And speaking of Mark Levin, he comes close to being like Michael Savage, a straight shooting talk show host not putting on an “entertaining” show, but like Michael, to the point and saying it like it is.
I generally find Savage’s audience quality to have the characteristic of shut-ins with low verbal quotients. I find Savage’s on-air self analysis to be very distracting to my train of thought on a subject, therefore irritating. This is not good for this type of thing, as I am not interested in hearing a person speaking rapid fire as he is procssing at the same time, and then giving a call-in a condescendingly patronizing slapping down for being a little less than orally nimble . Does he command the facts?, yes, seemingly so at this point. Is he Conservative? I genuinely do not know. He seems to say things that fit into the Conservative train of thinking, but then he goes into non-seqiturs without any signals and stays in them, breaking the line of argument to develop a subject, and then proceeds into a shrieking and screaming “I’m on the couch doing my own introspective self-analysis” routine. This is very self-absorbed and is not generally characteristic of a “Conservative”. Rush has never been insulting to an on-air caller, quite to the contrary he will stand aside and let callers make fools out of themselves that do not have command of facts. He has “never” attacked another Conservative radio talk show host personally on air with an “ad hominem” as has Savage. I think that if Savage cleaned up that aspect of his work he would develop a lot larger following than he currently has. No one is really interested in hearing consistently from you what you are “against” and who of your colleagues has offended you or “sold out”; they want to hear what you are for, not only that but in a positive mode of expression. Rush has differences between himself and notaries in the Conservative movement but he does not go about his differences in this manner. Savage does not communicate that. Savage would do well to clean up his act on guest hosts, Rush’s are simply top shelf; there is no comparison here. I’v watched Savage on Fox News the limited times that he was on some years ago and his on screen demeanor was to say the least condescending, not good. Given the choice between listening to Savage and Hannity [the attack dog], Levin [the calloused numbers cruncher cum machinery inspector]Coulter [ the iron maidenhead]Ingraham [principled beauty with conservative skepticism; she's what O'Reilly would be like if O'Reilly was a woman] Severin [on-air arrogance with subject matter knowledge expertise, and a really big! thesaurus, Beck [lots of good journalistic research combined with emotion, but is he shilling for a Gold stock brokerage?]and Limbaugh [scholastic method combined with logical skepticism in a humorous presentation that the man on the street readily understands and is empathetic with] I will listen to Savage last of all. He is quite possibly a Conservative radio talk show “Les Kinsolving”, “Larry King” late night parody act on radio at 0130 in the morning Thursday, as I’ve finished my sixth cup of coffee, reloading the last of 500 rounds of match grade ammunition.
Yes, I do think he is very unfairly mistreated.
The man is brilliant, knows his history, geography, which not many other radio talk show hosts are up to par with him on.
It’s as he does not even exist for them….ask YOURSELF why?

As for an act, no the man has tremendous emotions and lets them ride…I realise prior to the incident at Fort Hood, he was emphasizing his UK problem a bit…however, since no one else will take his side does he really have a choice..would YOU want to be on a list as such.
I am a great fan of his and hope he continues with his views and generousity. The man is loaded with compassion, passion,
heart and speaks with it most times…an act definitely not; just a soul whom speaks his mind!
I used to listen faithfully to Mike when I lived in Orlando, Fl. but I moved to the mts. of western N.C. and I can’t get him anymore. He used to be on WWNC Asheville-the voice of the mts. 570 am but they turn down their power at night and I cant listen to him and I am too far from Atlanta to get the station there. Any body got any ideas?
I like Michael very much. He is very insightful regarding current events and very knowledgeable about history. I look for his specific insight and understanding of many news events; and,I ignore his puts down and impatience with some people who call in: even though at times I think he goes too far and cuts people off- but often he is right. However, it’s not always the way to win friends and influence people. On the other hand, his critical view of events allow him to see events differently than other talk show hosts. I think Michael’s mode of criticism is what keeps him outside the inner circle of other newsmedia reporters. Fox reporters, in my opinion, may never be sure when Michael will embarass them with an off the wall comment; therefore, maybe that’s why they avoid him.

1. I don’t know that it is “unfair” for the other hosts to avoid recognizing Michael. It’s understandable that they dislike him when he regularly (and accurately) puts them down for being lightweights compared to Michael. I also believe they are intimidated by his intellect, versatility, and accomplishments, and the fact that he is usually more entertaining than they are. So is their resentment and envy “unfair” or just common human immaturity?
2. Michael comes across as “real” to me. His conversational ‘thought association’ style would be difficult to fake at the brisk pace of Michael’s delivery, and his core positions have been consistent throughout the 4 years that I’ve been listening.
Treated unfairly? I don’t think so. They may flick a few jabs at Michael, but they are all smart enough to not acknowledge the Great One, by getting into the ring to duke it out with him, as they’d be quickly and effectively laid to waste and they know it!
Real? Without question. Like it or not? That’s your only choice.
Definately Michael is being treated unfairly. Whenever his name is brought up it’s a negative comment which really angers me.

One thing that bothers me about the talk radio hosts and or narator’s. They like to wrap themselves in the United States Constituion. But fail to adiquatley address the present issues surrounding it and or present delima we all face. I believe the United States Constitution has the answer.
For instance We have to waite for the next election to remove a US Senator or congressman. I have heard this many times. This is absolute nonsense. All it takes is a petition in the district where they were elected or preside. A majority of registered voters to signe it, a court hearing in District Court. And a vote by the State Senate in the State they were elected to. I believe it would not take to many recall petitions to send a message that they are still accountable to they’er constituants and or registered voters.
One other think.
This is a question to all concerned: We Only Have Fifty States Why?
If these so called Nations we are spending billions of dollars to build. Decide to, after we leave can turn on us. There is no gurantee. Also we loose our investment and carry the debt for years to come. But if at some point it was offered for them to join the Union and become a State?
If they will not put it up for a vote to there people we should pull out.
If they join the Union we all win.

Savage has his contradictions and phobias to be sure. I hate it when he mispronounces the name of the prophet Malachi…but he’s plain and simple a genius–a broadcasting genius who connects his audience with the nuances of life, its joys and tragedies. He can connect a recipe or a youthful story with current events. He is much broader intellectually than all the others comined. They resent him and his success. Which is the only explanation I have for the disgraceful way they ignored his plight in Britain…and they deserve great shame for that silence. I particularly despise the so-called Great One (Levin) who uses Mike’s real name (’Weiner’) as a pjeorative from time to time. His own writing is itself nothing more than a mediocre re-hash of the founding fathers. If some extremist terrorist group one day bumped off Savage (God forbid!), then you’d hear a chorus of hypocrites bemoan his fate over the air…their own refusal to stand with him will one day come back to haunt them.

We agree with most everything you say and wish the other talk show hosts would listen to you as well.
Sometimes you use language that we do not agree with and that is one area where you could improve. Other than that you are telling it like it really is. Our country is going down hill fast but the Bible predicts that these things will happen. Both Republicans and Democrats have gone off the tracks with their thinking and we need good God fearing men back in our government.
In II Chronicles 7:14 it says, If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
If that doesn’t happen then America as we know it today will be gone tomorrow.

Yes, he’s the real deal. Can’t find him on my radio much but I miss him. Why isn’t he bigger than Beck and others? The Bible says pride goes before the fall, he definitely fits the bill, I would be frightened to face the judgment with his attitude towards his dumb callers but he even insults the ones who contribute to his show.
